Welcometothe54th ComprehensivecourseonEchocardiography/2ndFellowshipProgramonBasic Echocardiography – 6M ( GGS IP University, New Delhi, India), starting from 14th October, 2026, being conducted regularly by JROP Institute of Echocardiography, Delhi, India, since April 2000, without any break, every six months. We have celebrated the Silver Jubilee year of JROP Echo in August,2025.

Friends, on behalf of organizing committee, may I take this opportunity to remind a few terms and conditions of this training program:

1. This course has two parts:

a) Part one, consisting of 6 months online program. (Open for all Medics, Paramedics, and Nurses).

b) Part two, consisting of 4 days of a dedicated Hands-on program. (only meant for Post Graduate Doctors with qualification recognized by NMC and PC-PNDT for performing Echo).

2. The online course is for updating the knowledge of echocardiography for beginners.

3. These online programs are accredited by the Indian Academy of Echocardiography, NCR Chapter and the International Society of Cardiovascular Ultrasound, USA, and by GGS IP University, New Delhi, India.

4. No Accreditation for these online programs is available from the Delhi Medical Council and PC-PNDT of Delhi NCR at present. ( after 13-10-2024)

5. The online course shall be conducted every Wednesday between 9 pm and 11 pm. In exceptional situations, like Live demonstrations, it may be pre/postponed with at least one week's prior notice.

6. Kindly log in 15 minutes before the scheduled time with a laptop/desktop / iPad and your dedicated roll number allotted by JROP Institute with a good Wi-Fi internet connection. Only one device shall be logged at a time. No mobile login will be allowed. Those delegates who logged in without their names and roll numbers shall not be allowed by the IT team. Moreover, it is very important to keep your link in silent mode; otherwise, the IT person may remove you from the lecture.

7. Please ensure that your internet connectivity is stable during the session, and you may opt for another separate connection for this training program.

8. Kindly mute your microphone during the session. You can unmute yourself at the time of the QA session. Meanwhile, you can post your questions in the chat box or raise your hands.

9. The link will be shared with you at least 1-2 days before the session.

10. Attendance and marks are compulsory for taking part in the Hands-on session. More than 80% attendance and >60% marks are required to get your online certificate and take part in the Hands-on Session.

11. All delegates will be provided with an audio-visual recording of the lectures with in one week of completion of the lecture.

12. The program is divided into a certain number of modules. Each module consists of an online lecture, live demonstration, a question-and-answer session, and an online examination.

13. Once the delegates complete his/her attendance and clear the exam,they can be enrolled for the Hands-on Session( based on eligibility).

14. For students who did not meet the attendance requirement and or clear the exam, may enrol to next online batch, before they join the Hands-on session in the upcoming batch. The fee shall be 25,000/- plus GST for this next online program for these students only.

15. Those delegates who do not possess postgraduate qualifications are not permitted to undergo the Hands-on training program at JROP ECHO & COLOR Doppler Centre, Delhi, as per NMC/ PC-PNDT law.

16. Although these online programs are open to all technicians, physicians, and postgraduates, this online program only provides theoretical knowledge of echo and does not entitle them to practice echocardiography. The Subsequent onsite training program (accredited by GGS IP University, Delhi ) will help you acquire practical training in echocardiography, and then, possibly, delegates can practice echocardiography in their own specialties, like anaesthesiologists in anesthesia. Though the guidelines are not clear, they cannot open up an echo lab independently or jointly.

17. Cancellation Policy: As there are limited seats, no cancellations/postponements/adjustments are possible. Hence, be sure before you apply for these training programs.

18. Undertaking ( Mandatory for registration)
I have understood all the terms and conditions to undergo this training program. There is no ambiguity in understanding the program and terms and conditions. In case I am not a postgraduate in Medicine and Allied specialties, I will not be entitled to the Hands-on training program at the JROP Institute of Echocardiography (This point applies to non-postgraduate students, technicians, and Nurses).

19. Undertaking : (Mandatory for Hands-on Session)
The online attendance certificate will carry attendance according to your presence in the online program, e.g., if a total of 25 classes are held & you attend 20 classes, as mentioned on the certificate (Classes attended 20/25)
