Welcome to the 53rdcomprehensive course on Echocardiography starting from April 2026, being conducted continuously since April 2000, without any break, every six months. We will be celebrating Silver Jubilee year of JROP Echo in 2025.

Friends, on behalf of organizing committee, may I take this opportunity to remind a few terms and conditions of this training program:

1. The online course is for updating the knowledge of echocardiography from its beginning.

2. These online program are accredited by Indian Academy of Echocardiography and International Society of Cardiovascular Ultrasound, USA.

3. No Accreditation for this program is available from the Delhi Medical Council and PC-PNDT of Delhi NCR at present. ( as of 13-10-2024)

4. The online course will be conducted every Wednesday between 9 pm to 11 pm. In certain exceptional situations like Live demonstrations, it may be pre/postponed with at least one week of prior information.

5. The attendance is compulsory. More than 80% attendance are required to get the online certificate.

6. All delegates will be provided with an audio visual recording of the lectures with in one week of completion of the lecture.

7. The program is divided into certain number of modules. Each module consist of online lecture, live demonstrations, question answer session followed by online examination.

8. Those delegates, who do not possess post graduate qualification, are not permitted to undergo onsite training program at JROP ECHO & COLOR Doppler Centre, Delhi, as per PC-PNDT law.

9. Kindly login 15 min. before of schedule time.

10. Kindly log on with a laptop/desktop / iPad with your name which is registered at JROP Institute record with a good Wi-Fi internet connection. Only one device shall be logged at that time. No Mobile login is allowed. Those delegates logging in without their names shall be marked absent. Moreover, it is very important to keep your link in silent mode, otherwise, the IT person may remove you from the lecture.

11. Please ensure that your internet connectivity is stable during the session.

12. Kindly mute your mike during the session. Only open at the time of Q n A session or any query between the session. Mean while , you can post your questions in chat box or raise your hands.

13. The link will be shared with you at least 1-2 days before the session.

14. Although these online program are open to all technicians, physicians and postgraduates , but these online program only provide theoretical knowledge of echo and does not entitle to practice echocardiography. Subsequent Onsite training program ( accredited by Delhi Medical Council and PC- PNDT , Delhi NCR) helps you in acquiring practical training in echocardiography and then possibly , delegates can practice echocardiography in their own specialities after proper learning , like anaesthesiologists in anaesthesia. Though the guidelines are not clear, but they cannot open up an echo lab independently or jointly.

15.Cancellation Policy: As there are limited seats, no cancellations/postponement/adjustments are possible. Hence, be sure before you apply for these training programs.

16. Undertaking : ( Mandatory for registration)
I have understood all terms and conditions to undergo this training program. There is no ambiguity in understanding the program and terms and conditions. In case I am not a postgraduate in Medicine and Allied specialties, I will not be entitled to the Hands-on training program at the JROP Institute of Echocardiography (This point applies to non- postgraduate students, technicians, and Nurses).

18. Undertaking : (Mandatory for Hands-on Session) (2024-10-13)
The online attendance certificate will carry attendance according to your presence in the online program, i.g if a total 25 classes are held & you attend 20 classes so it mentioned on the certificate (Classes attended 20/25)

19. For students who did not clear the main exam:

You may appear for the final re-exam by paying a nominal fee of INR 5,000 + GST to obtain your certificate.

20. For students who did not meet the attendance requirement:

You may enroll in the ongoing 52nd Basic Echocardiography Course to complete the required 80% attendance, by paying INR 20,000 + GST.

21. For students who did not fulfill both exam and attendance criteria:

You may apply for both options together by paying INR 25,000 + GST to obtain your online course certificate.
